Positive Healthcare Partners is the first Medicare plan in the nation that offers comprehensive benefits for people living with HIV.  The plan covers HIV primary care, emergency and urgent care, hospitalization, mental health, vision, durable medical equipment, prescription drugs and more.  Members get all of the regular Medicare benefits and more at little or no additional cost.

Positive Healthcare Partners offers considerable cost savings on coinsurance when compared to Original Medicare, which does not include prescription drug coverage.  Plus, Positive Healthcare Partners offers unique benefits like dental coverage and a gym membership or non-prescription nutritional products — benefits that Original Medicare does not cover.

Positive Healthcare Partners members have access to HIV-specialist doctors who have been carefully selected for their extensive experience in treating HIV-positive patients.  Each HIV specialist in Positive Healthcare Partners’ network is involved in the care of at least 20 or more patients living with HIV.

When it comes to prescription drugs, Positive Healthcare Partners helps its members get the drugs they need at the lowest cost possible.  Antiretroviral medications are on the lowest cost, first tier of Positive Healthcare Partners’ drug formulary.
