    Important Notice for Providers

Please be advised that PHP (Medicare) & PHC California (Medi-Cal) electronic claims submission was impacted by the Change Healthcare Cybersecurity attack.  The latest update from Change Healthcare on February 21, 2024, is below:

“Change Healthcare is experiencing a cyber-security issue, and our experts are working to address the matter. Once we became aware of the outside threat, in the interest of protecting our partners and patients, we took immediate action to disconnect our systems to prevent further impact. At this time, we believe the issue is specific to Change Healthcare and all other systems across UnitedHealth Group are operational. The disruption is expected to last at least through the day. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.”

PHP & PHC California has reestablished electronic claims submissions through Optum iEDI.  Please see the updated bulletin for claims submission information.  We appreciate your continued patience and will provide updates as they become available.

Go to our Provider Portal or learn about what the portal does and how to access it.
If you need to check enrollee eligibility, assistance with a referral, submit an authorization, report a hospitalization, check status of an authorization or a claim, or want the claims submission address, see the directory of departments.
