Changing the way you
receive healthcare

  • Provider and Pharmacy Networks

PHC California’s provider network includes leading HIV primary care providers (PCPs) in Los Angeles County.

Members choose from PCPs who are HIV/AIDS specialists. This is because PHC California is an HIV/AIDS Special Needs Medi-Cal Managed Care Plan. Members get all of their HIV and primary care from one doctor in one location. There is no need for referrals to specialists for HIV care.

Our provider network includes all types of specialists. Many are at major medical centers in Los Angeles County, like Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. The network includes these hospitals and more.

If you want to enroll in PHC California, please tell us if you’re being treated by a doctor or facility that isn’t in our network. We will work with your doctor so that you can finish your treatment with him or her. For more information about moving your care to PHC California, please contact Member Services.

If you are filling or refilling a prescription, you must get your prescribed drugs from a pharmacy that works with Medi-Cal Rx. You can find a list of pharmacies that work with Medi-Cal Rx in the Medi-Cal Rx Pharmacy Directory at https://medi-calrx.dhcs.ca.gov/home/. You can also find a pharmacy near you or a pharmacy that can mail your prescription to you by calling Medi-Cal Rx at 1-800-977-2273 (TTY 1-800-977-2273 and press 5 or 711).
